Our Farm Story

Welcome to Oak Ridge Beef

I'm Ty, a fifth generation farmer from Adams County, Nebraska. I grow corn and soybeans, and have a small cattle herd. With my wife, Sarah, and our son, Leo, we are thrilled to offer our farm-raised beef.

Our Heritage

My great-great-grandfather, John, immigrated here from Luxembourg in 1871. John and his wife, Susanna, settled in Illinois but moved here to Adams County, Nebraska in the early 1880s. Throughout the last 125+ years of our farm, my family has been raising crops and tending cattle on this beautiful land. We get our name from the road our family farm house was built on in 1905 - Oak Ridge Road.

Our Cattle

We proudly source our beef from our own cattle and a trusted family member's herd. They are grass fed and grain finished for exceptional marbling and rich, full flavor. Each animal is cared for and lives a stress-free life for superior beef quality.

Our Commitment to Quality

Every step of our process is carefully monitored to ensure the highest quality:

  • Grass-fed and grain-finished for optimal flavor and tenderness
  • No hormones or unnecessary antibiotics
  • Humane handling practices
  • Processed and dry aged at our local butcher shop
  • USDA inspected

From Our Family to Yours

When you choose Oak Ridge Beef, you're not just buying meat – you're supporting a family farm that takes pride in every cut we deliver. Thank you for allowing us to bring the finest beef from our farm to your table. We look forward to serving your family for generations to come.
